dr-riceDr. Rice
C. M. Rice, Ph.D., CRH, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Rice is the owner of the clinic, and a licensed, clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience. He has specialties in the addictions, including sex addictions, personality disorders, and the chronically mentally ill. He was extensively trained in cognitive behavior therapy, (CBT), at Washington State University, where he obtained his doctorate, and Harvard Medical School where he was the first post-doctoral fellow in behavioral psychology.

He also was a certified school psychologist. He continues to evaluate children for learning, and behavioral problems. He is certified in forensics and is a fellow of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists, and Psycho-diagnosticians. He is also a Certified Rational Hypnotherapist, and is certified by the State of Idaho to do domestic violence evaluations. He is certified by the U.S. government to do evaluations for veterans.

dr-watersDr. Waters
C. Waters, Ph.D, MAT, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Waters has specialties in relationship problems, psychological assessment, psychotherapy with men, and co-occuring mental illness and spiritual difficulties. He was trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and psychological assessment at Fuller Theological Seminary, where he obtained his doctorate in clinical psychology. He also received a Master’s Degree in Theology in order to better understand his patients’ religious, spiritual, and philosophical concerns.

Dr. Waters provides consultation/workshops for business and churches about topics such as organizational leadership, lay counseling skills, and mental health issues. His patients include children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Waters enjoys working with patients from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.

bonovitzMr. Bonovitz
LCPC, ACADC

Mr. Bonovitz is a bilingual licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), and an advanced certified alcohol and drug counselor (ACADC) He is also a board approved supervisor. Mr. Bonovitz has a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Immaculata University and a graduate certificate in addiction studies from Boise State University. He has a decade of experience helping those with mental health and substance abuse issues, he also specializes in treating stress, depression, addictive behaviors, couples issues, college students and spiritual problems.

Mr. Bonovitz provides individual, couples and group counseling, as well as supervision for counselors seeking license. Mr. Bonovitz serves as a co-chair for the Idaho Suicide Prevention Action Network (SPAN Idaho), and is an expert on suicide risk assessment and prevention. He offers counseling services in Spanish and English. Mr. Bonovitz considers it a privileged to serve those whom still suffer.

Mr. Bonovitz also offers telehealth treatment by Skype or FaceTime. This is especially helpful for the housebound, in rural areas or work out of town a lot.


mrs-senethavilayDr. H. Senethavilay, M.A., Ph.D.
Counselor, Psychological Service Extender Provider

Dr. Senethavilay recently completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and is currently completing the post-doctoral hours required for licensure at Living Hope Clinic.

Dr. Senethavilay has experience providing mental health services to chronically mentally ill individuals, violent offenders, sexual offenders, and habitual offenders. She has also provided counseling services for victims of human trafficking and other trauma related issues for both adolescents and adults.

Dr. Senethavilay specializes in sexual offender treatment, post traumatic stress disorder, and cognitive behavioral treatment modalities. She does neuro-cognitive evaluations and psychological testing for the intellectually disabled and those with learning and other disabilities.

Dr. Senethavilay is certified in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), is a member of Psi Chi, as well as a member of the Association for Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).

CPRP

Mr. Harms has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth and is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Provider. He has many years of experience working with the chronically mentally ill and individuals from a number of cultures and backgrounds. Mr. Harms has been a psychosocial rehabilitation / community based rehabilitation provider and case manager throughout the Treasure Valley for the last 9 years.

Mrs. Wernsing graduated from Northwest Nazarene with a masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She also is an extended service provider for Dr. Charles Rice, Licensed psychologist.

Mrs. Wernsing specializes in marriage and family counseling, and enjoys working with adolescents. She has worked with teens in youth ministry for over 10 years as a YoungLife leader, counselor and friend with hundreds of middle school and high school students.

Mrs. Wernsing is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota honor society.
